However, this is not a deal breaker attachment, it just would add extra protection to the pod face. I expect this one to be just as sturdy, so far it's been to the gym a number of times and is just fine. Would still be going strong had I not tried to adjust it so impatiently late last year. Was never able to get it attached properly before and can't now. This is my second Marware sportsuit for my iPod. First one I bought back in 2006. My one qualm would be the cover piece.
The case covers the bottom cable dock, so you have no way of charging it with the case on, but it performs up to my expectations, for running use of course(but only for running).and warning: NEVER USE IT IF YOU HAVE AN INVISIBLE SHIELD ALREADY INSTALLED ON YOUR IPOD., you will have a very very hard time taking the case off.
great replacement. left the ipod in immaculate cond. no problems at all. my second one. the last one's life span was over 2yrs. i went through amazon.
Meanwhile, they are about to loose another long-suffering-had-enough-of-this customer. As a matter of fact, your iPod might fall. However, the cover wears quickly and even more important, the clip-on area breaks easily and renders the clip (and armband) useless. If Marware were to be smart enough to make this entire product from stronger, longer lasting material, this would truly be a block-buster iPod case system. I'm a very active person and use my iPod frequently - for leisure and for sports. I run often and do weightlifting so the convertibility of this product is very useful/beneficial to me. As a result, I went through two in a short period.
The skin was rubbery and leathery. Returned this item. Product came, it was torn in the corner, and it didn't fit the iPod as advertised. I had an old Marware product which was more spandexy, and so I ordered that one instead.
